Ok so I'm a little slow posting this...

In the past week we moved to another apartment but in the same building. It's now a 2 bedroom. Clara now has her own room again; thank goodness. The pantry is a walk in and it has the laundry with it. It's about 2x the size of the old one and yes there will be pictures sometime soon. So what else is new with us... Clara got another tooth this week,we took her temp. and it turned out to be 103.5. It was so sad we put her in a bath and oh man did she hate that! Then Dustin ran to Walgreens at about 1 in the morning for meds, thank goodness that they are open 24hrs. It's been snowing and windy like crazy for about a week now. It hasn't been much fun at all. I went to school last Saturday and learned how the rubber dam clams work and had to put them on every tooth! I am really liking my class and have met a new friend in it. Her name is Amber and she also has a little girl she's 15 months born the day after Christmas named Emily. Today is Friday and Emily came over with Amber to have a play date/study review. Clara was really shy and didn't know what to think. Emily loved our cat Findley and wanted to hug him a lot of the time. The girls had fun talking up a storm with each other and to the fish. This weeks Pictures

1st day of school

Ok so this Saturday was my first class as a dental assistant. I learned when the numbers of the teeth are and how many we had. The best part was working on one another and getting into our gloves. I got to clean someone's teeth right after lunch oh yeah best time right. Anyways I used a lot of the tools like that drill that everyone seems to hate because of the noise. We used the sucker and got all the spit cleaned up and out plus cleaning our station was very odd. You go and spray with cleaner with no gloves then you put gloves on and clean it all with alcohol swabs and last take off the gloves and spray. Now this is done after every person. I have 6 hrs of homework so this is all for my first day I will keep updating when I can.

On my mind...

Ok, I which is Christine has signed up for an 11 week program to be a dental assistant. I am super excited and it's only on Saturday 8-5. I will have 6 hrs of homework yeah not fun but oh well. Then after the 11 weeks I will have to do a 300 hr intern so I'll keep you up to date as much as I can..

The other thing on my mind is how super cute Clara is. I love all the new words that pop out of her mouth.... dad,mom,that,yeah and uh ohs. The other thing she loves to do is walk everywhere and eat anything! She has come to find that if mom puts her shoes on that means bye bye and she will go to the front door and hit on it. She is working on her 7th and 8th teeth at one time not fun! She loves to draw and eat with her own fork or spoon. She is like mom in the way that any book that you have will be hers. She will grab a book and then sit in your lap as u look at the pictures together. We love her so very much and look forward to the days that she can talk more.
